Funky Rooster

Thank you Jane Eborall for the January TIAS. The neck area became twisted but I forgot to change threads for the beak and didn't add a big bead. The rooster has 2 eyeballs.."All the better to see with"! I added some orange thread to the beak. Jane did a great job explaining every step including pictures of "how to". Fun Project during the winter snow!

Your rooster is better than my first "brown" effort (I thought I was making a Norma ~ turned out to be a Norman) I put the tail on the wrong side of the body. But I sent it to JaneEb anyway because I like the newbies to see that the old moos struggle sometimes, too! LOL
I'm intrigued about the CQ blocks…is it for a fundraiser? I wasn't able to attend Palmetto; but I always get the DVD's afterwards ~ well worth the $.
Enjoy your blog…especially since I can't sew; enjoy seeing the works of others.

I believe this will be a wall hanging. The blocks are 11" trimed to 10". The blocks are for the 2010 Scholarship PTG Fundraiser sponsored by Georgia Seitz. All of the blocks have been mailed out but one could send trims to Georgia to finish the blocks.
