When this project is finished it will be a yolk attached to a purchased denim jacket. Marking the purple with white pencil worked well. However, I have tried non waxed carbon paper and a white marking pencil on the floral material and it did not show up. So I used a #5 mechanical pencil and it just barely shows through. The leaves and other small finery I will just have to wing it. Any suggestions?

Pin white tissue paper on top of it, draw on the paper, stitch through both paper and fabric and then carefully rip the tissue paper away.
