Fields of Clover Doily

Fields of Clover Doily by Nancy Tracy. http://www.be-stitched.com, is completed. One can continue on for a much larger doily but this is the size I like.
It is easy and a quick  pattern to tat till you come to the Clovers. They are easy but takes time to tat them. Usually I tat one in an evening. The tread is size 20 Lizbeth 145, Pink Parade. I used a 1/4 inch Picot Gauge for all picots.
I have tatted many of Nancy's patterns and she is one of my favorite designers.

Very pretty! I started that doily quite a while ago. I should pull it out and finish it. Nancy's designs are wonderful!

Lovely. Quite an accomplishment - that is a lot of tatting!

Nancy is a terrific designer, and you've tatted this so beautifully. I think the shaded thread helps to give the design some depth and bring out the very attractive negative spaces.

Turned out absolutely beautiful..!! I'm always hesitant about what color to do them in as some of colors, I think, would just not look good in my living room...I'm learning to love the variegated threads now...
