sunday

 One more round!!

Finished the angels with gold braid and blue beads, Camel and Wise men, Mary and Palm trees. They take about 2 hours each to finish. Mary did not take as long because of all the braids and beading but still took some time to tuck all the satin edging under.

Here is my sea horses made when I first started crazy quilting in 2007. The big one is all bullion stitches and the baby is back stitch. I was showing the ladies how to work the bullion stitches but the young 12 year old I worked with her doing a back stitch.
Renee..http://monkeyandmutt.blogspot is working on her 2015 Under the Sea Block Step 4: Seahorse Motif.  She has a great Tutorial on satin stitching a seahorse.  I will have to make one using her directions, the treasurer chest is satin stitch.

Hubby says  Hi!  With all the rain we purchased a riding lawn mower to mow weeds. The weeds are above the mail boxes. We are on the border of TX and not as much rain and flooding as Central TX. We shudder every time a thunder storm comes by and hope no hail. It still floods in the garden and driveway. Have one red tomato we will share today and a few raspberries.

I received a new magazine this week and have not subscribed to any cross stitch or quilting magazines for the past 5+ years. This one is amazing packed full of patterns on primitive cross stitch and punch needle. I have my punch needle just need to find time to learn. I do rug hooking so it isn't that hard to figure it out.

Your tatting is so pretty!

Your nativity scene is really coming along nicely. I especially love the wise man's camel... he looks like he's smiling. :)

And I love your underwater scene too. That treasure chest is great!

Thanks for linking up again to this week's Stitchery Link Party and for linking back. Aloha hugs!
