Mr. Rooster turned into an embroidery motif. The Threads just seemed to keep on flowing!! So I appliqued a group of flowers for the Broderie Perse project in Kath Shawkl's class and used simple outlining on the outside and inside with beads.

Slowly getting the Christmas decorations up. We were the first to put the outside lights up and now the rest of the neighborhood has lights. The church, Santa house and the train station are needle work on plastic canvas with a music box.  The small china Santa in front was given to me at a bank for completing my Christmas Fund when I was 12. They had a special deal for children so they had money for Christmas. The Christmas fence has been in the family for a very long time. My grandmother gave it to Mother and believe it came from Germany. I would say it is over 100 years.

Thank you everyone for visiting me and leaving a nice comments. Wishing you all a blessed week.

I am hooking up with Susan Flemming's Super Mom No Cape, Embroidery and Cross Stitch  on  http://www.supermomnocape.com

Oh, do I ever love your chicken! That is just fabulous work, and the flowers are very pretty, too. This is going to be an amazing block. Love your little village, too. Is there a train in there somewhere? Looks like there should be a train!

Your Broderie Perse looks very pretty and I love the Rooster, nice stitching! What a lovely heirloom your village is, amazing to think some of it is a hundred years old!

The rooster turned out beautiful! And I love your village. I had hoped to collect a wooden village but I only have three of the buildings from that set... maybe someday. :)

Thanks so much for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party and for the link back. Aloha hugs!
