CQ Hexie

Finished another Hexie block from Kathy Shawkl's class. The flowers is an applique technique called 'broderie perse'. It is a group of flowers cut out and appliqued down then embellished with threads.  The rooster was suppose to be the same but the thread painting took over.  The Cat is a raised technique stuffed with cotton, appliqued to fabric and embroidered. The pink "L" is silk ribbon Monogram. Finished the seam treatments this week.

All nine chickens are laying eggs so we are in overload!!  Last night we had a fruit salad with Raspberry dressing and a Crescent Egg Roll. Delicious..

Baby Quilt is almost ready for the binding. Found some cute ducks, butterflies and bunny for quilting around.

Thank You for visiting me and love your comments. Looking forward to seeing all the beautiful projects people are working on at    Susan Flemming's Super Mom No Cape, Embroidery and Cross Stitch  on   Monday....http://www.supermomnocape.com
