Hook Rug Sheep Challenge

Easter Greetings!

On the FB Rug Hookers they had a challenge of a sheep, daffodils and the 2 houses.  This is what I Designed around the 3 items and finished before the deadline May 1.

"Best of All"  pattern by Nancy Halvorsen can be appliqued or embroidered. I like the embroidery and it will be matted and framed.

Thank You for visiting me and love your comments. Looking forward to seeing all the beautiful projects people are working on at    Susan Flemming's Super Mom No Cape, Embroidery and Cross Stitch  on   Monday....http://www.supermomnocape.com

I love your rug & embroidery. Is the rug doily sized?

Both are beautiful. How long are the yarn pieces on your finished piece. I designed a latch-hook tree skirt for our Christmas tree with snowmen carolers many years ago, but the yarn pieces are a couple of inches long and the design gets a little lost as the pieces flatten. Your design is so much better focused (is that the right word?).

Such a treat to see your 'Best of All' stitchery. I have embroidered this one and finished it off as a mini wall hanging - it's hanging up in the family room - I've never seen another one so it was delightful to spot yours. It's such a charming piece, isn't it?
