Christmas

Merry Christmas and Welcome to our home!
We will have a white christmas with 6-8 inches of snow. It is our German custom to have a winter wonderland under the tree. Tazzie loves to sit and watch the dazzle of the lights and what can I get to play with!!

Merry Christmas! That little village around the tree skirt is awesome! :)

At first I thought snow is a rare occurrence in New Mexico, but thanks to the Web, I discovered it's quite common in the northern regions, due to the high elevations above sea level! (Love the Web, with its instant information.)

Love your photos, especially the cute photo of your dog with the snow-y nose! And the village is also very clever. It would seem difficult to set it up on the floor. I used to have a 'village' on a table, and it was a lot of work to set up, even at a comfortable height! That's a very pretty tree, also!

I MUST comment again about your tatted snowmen a few posts back. I indeed did tat a pair of Victorian 'snowladies' for my 'grown-up' nieces (in college) for Christmas and will be posting them soon on my blog. Thanks again for the great idea! I'll link to your blog when I do the post!
