Handy Hands sent a free sample of Lizbeth size 3 thread along with their newsletter filled with patterns. On the Crazy Quilt above I stitched the Cretan Stitch. Used DMC 3 strands for the top chain stitch and also on the star inside. One needs to use a wide eye needle, like a ribbon needle to make the hole big enough for the thread to go through the material. Another way to use this thread is to couch it down.

Here I have a some tatting which would be excellent for beginners or if you just wanted to enlarge a pattern. I can see some butterflies or dragonflies tatted up. I have stitched some lazy daisies with a bead in the center. It gives an added dimension between the red fans.
