Another Butterfly block ready to applique. This is slow stitching!! I am linking up with Kathy's Quilts http://kathysquilts.blogspot.com. Come and Visit Kathy's blog to see what others are "slow stitching".
The pretty heart is a pattern from Handy Hands Catalog and tatted with some new thread called Red Poppy. The little tatted basket on the green will be filled with silk ribbon flowers. The cross stitch fox and bee was worked on linen and waste canvas on top. The linen someone brought into the Sr Center where I have classes and chit chat on Wed. The linen was used as a grease rag and with lots of elbow and Shout, I was able to salvage quite a bit of it. Beautiful piece of linen.
This pretty tatted heart is a pattern from Nancy Tracy.

What gorgeous work!! I love tatting & yours is very well done. Glad you could save the linen & make a nice piece to add to a project. Happy Sunday!!
Your heart is gorgeous! Love that delicate edging.
My aunt used to do beautiful tatting. I never have. But she never made a quilt, so I guess we balance each other out, lol!
