Cortland Water Board in New York
I have been painting laces and ribbons this week. Kathy Shawkl has lots of free classes and this one is Painting with acid dyes on laces and ribbons. Lots of great information and learning a lot about dyes. I have used lots of different dyes but one can always learn more. Need to find time for my Crazy Quilt and add some of these beautiful ribbons and motifs.
Thank You for visiting me and love your comments. Looking forward to seeing all the beautiful projects people are working on at Kathy's Quilts Slow Stitching Sunday ...http://kathysquilts.blogspot.com

Your tatting is gorgeous. Very unique also!
Kind of a unique "gift-wrapping" ! :-)))
Adorable tatting, & love the dye-painted laces .
You are well into the Halloween spirit already :-)
Beautiful! I learned to tat several years ago, but didn't keep it up and now I can't remember a thing. I admire anyone who does such beautiful, intricate work....I know what goes into it.
Thank You ladies for the nice comments!!
That was clever of you, to turn the maple leaf into an edging! I'm surprised you were using acid dyes for lace because I thought they were for animal fibres. They look lovely in an array of colour.
Your tatting is lovely... the Autumn colours are so pretty! Christine x
