Wool applique, Lady in the Garden and Rose Sampler

Scaredy Cat is a pattern from Country marketplace Magazine by JoAnn Mullally. The cat, moon and star are wool appliqued on a cotton fabric and sewn on a sweatshirt.

Although I did this a few years a go it is everything I did in  Kathy Shawkl class of paintings, dyes and inks. Great class.

Finished a rose motif on the Sampler. It takes a long time because of all the shading.

What a beautiful piece you did in Kathy's class. I like the Colonial Girl design. Your sweatshirt is so cute! That's perfect for Halloween night, taking children trick-or-treating. Or for a trunk-or-treat, too. Boo at the zoo? Whatever. It's adorable. Your rose is beautiful. Not only a long time for shading, but a lot of patience, I would think. Thanks for sharing this great post!

Three lovely projects! I've taken several of Kathy's classes and they are all fabulous! I haven't done the painting one though! Have a lovely week! Christine x

The Halloween applique is so cute!

The embroidery is gorgeous. I love how you added the colored in/dyed areas.

And that peacock cross-stitch is going to be beautiful.

Thanks so much for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party and for the link back. Aloha hugs!
